Dear Esteemed Colleagues,
Our world becomes more traumatic each day, not only due to the traumas of daily life but also due to wars, disasters, accidents, conflicts, and acts of terror.
It is not only the young population that is wounded; our elderly, children, disabled, and people with chronic illnesses are also affected…
Our hospitals are overflowing day and night, summer, and winter, inside and outside of working hours, with patients requiring emergency surgery…
While the workload in the field of trauma and emergency surgery is increasing, our workforce is unfortunately weakening.
We have accumulated much to share with each other on subjects like new surgical methods, the application of new technologies, personnel management, and clinical logistics management.
The time has come to share our accumulated knowledge from our patients observed over the years, the surgeries we’ve performed, the literature we’ve published, the complications we’ve encountered, and all the experience we’ve gained.
This time, we are thrilled and very happy to gather with you, our esteemed professors, valuable colleagues, and dear specialist students at our 14th National Congress on Trauma and Emergency Surgery.
We are grateful for the contributions of industry representatives who have always supported us to our profession’s education, practice, and application processes.
We will discuss the latest global developments in trauma surgery concepts applied in pre-hospital settings, emergency services, operating rooms, and intensive care units, newly accepted global paradigms themed on emergency surgery, and the approach options produced by our national experiences, in the most common and detailed ways.
We will share and refresh our knowledge in scientific presentations like courses, workshops, conferences, panels, interactive sessions, satellite symposiums, roundtable meetings, surveys, competitions, and selected oral and poster presentation sessions.
We will transfer and discuss the entire accumulation, differences, experiences, suggestions, and applications of trauma and emergency surgery in a scientific program to be shared by local and foreign scientists.
At the 14th National Congress on Trauma and Emergency Surgery, where we will also witness delightful moments in social programs, we will be honored and delighted to have you with us.
We are excited.
We are expecting you at Titanic Mardan Palace in Antalya on November 15-19, 2023.
Stay healthy…
